The appointment reason is the type of service the customer selects when booking, or the purpose of the appointment.

- Driving school: "Driving lesson", "Country road driving", "Highway driving"
Configurable parameters per appointment reason
- Duration of the appointment
- Buffer time after the appointment
- Lead time (different from the global setting)
- Additional time (overlap with the next slot)
- Capacity (how many simultaneous bookings are allowed for this reason)
- Price (in combination with the payment module)
- Bookable only for certain user roles (e.g. only admins can create internal appointments)
- Group structure: appointment reasons can be grouped into categories
- Individual color: Each appointment reason can be assigned its own color so that bookings can be distinguished by color in the calendar
- Description text: A description with rich text formatting can be added to inform customers before booking
- Hide: Appointment reasons can be hidden from customers without deleting them (e.g. for internal or seasonal appointment reasons)
