Guest booking lets customers book an appointment without registering or setting a password first. A temporary guest account is created in the process.
Characteristics
- The customer only enters their basic data (name, email etc.), but no password
- The system automatically creates a guest account that is assigned to the booking
- Optional: certain fields can be configured specifically for guest bookings
- Account takeover: The guest can convert their guest account into a full customer account at any time by setting a password
Guest bookings considerably lower the booking barrier, since no registration is required. They are particularly suitable for service providers who want to make first bookings as smooth as possible.
Upgrade to a full account
A guest account can be converted into a full customer account at any time. To do so, the guest sets a password (e.g. via the "Forgot password" function), and all previous bookings remain assigned to the new account.

Guest bookings are recorded and evaluated separately in the user behavior module.
