iCal import

Read in external calendar URLs and automatically block their time periods as blocked times

The iCal import makes it possible to automatically download external iCal feeds and block the time periods they contain in the booking system.

How it works

  • The service provider enters one or more external iCal URLs (e.g. of a private Google calendar)
  • The system downloads the feed regularly and automatically blocks the appointment periods it contains
  • The capacity blocked per imported entry is configurable
  • After saving, an immediate update can be triggered
  • Imported appointments are assigned to a user account

Use case: A staff member has private appointments in Google Calendar that should appear as blocked times in the booking system, without transferring them manually.
