The iCal import makes it possible to automatically download external iCal feeds and block the time periods they contain in the booking system.
How it works
- The service provider enters one or more external iCal URLs (e.g. of a private Google calendar)
- The system downloads the feed regularly and automatically blocks the appointment periods it contains
- The capacity blocked per imported entry is configurable
- After saving, an immediate update can be triggered
- Imported appointments are assigned to a user account
Use case: A staff member has private appointments in Google Calendar that should appear as blocked times in the booking system, without transferring them manually.
