The vCard format is a standardized file format for electronic business cards. It was developed in 1996 by the Versit Consortium (founded by Apple, AT&T, IBM and Siemens) and is specified in RFC 6350. Files in vCard format have the extension .vcf.

- Name (first and last name, title)
- Phone numbers (mobile, office, fax)
- Email addresses
- Postal address
- Website URL
- Photo (embedded as Base64)
- Job title and organization
Use in the appointment scheduling system
Customer data can be exported as a vCard in order to import it into address books (iPhone Contacts, Android, Outlook).
